You land in Italy as soon as you are inside this cosy little restaurant—the white-washed walls, white and blue decor, cobble-stoned floor, a patio with open-air seating and little touches in every nook and cranny set the Italian theme ringing. The menu is exhaustive and while you take your time to choose a favourite, the complimentary bread served with parsley butter and savoury salsa dip sets your taste buds tingling. The restaurant claims to primarily use organic ingredients and hand-made bread. All you need on a lazy winter afternoon is fine wine with wholesome Mediterranean inspired fare served here. Take a pick from pork belly with bacon jam, full baby chicken, bacon wrapped artichokes and prawns with calamari, among others. The vegetarian options are equally enticing and the pizza does justice to the authentic Italian theme. Pizza rocks the dessert list too with a banana pizza on the menu. The staff is courteous and involved, having workable knowledge of what is on the platter. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
